Dear Developers,

To uphold our commitment to provide you with consistent and awesome Etsy
service, we�re planning a database upgrade requiring a site outage on
Saturday, June 16. The planned outage will begin at 8 a.m. GMT (check
your local timezone), and we expect it will last no longer than a few
hours. During this time, there will be no access to Etsy.com, the iPhone
app, or any apps that rely on the Etsy API. All Etsy API requests will
return "503 Service Unavailable."

We regret that this will cause an inconvenience for some of you; that�s
why we chose a low-traffic time to conduct this maintenance. It�s really
unusual that we need to interrupt access to Etsy while we improve our
technology (it�s been over a year since our last planned outage), and we
appreciate your patience. This upgrade allows us to launch more product
improvements, and ensure a successful upcoming holiday season on Etsy.

Rest assured that all your information will remain completely secure and
unaltered and Etsy will come back looking just as you left it. You can
