Since the changes last night, all of our apps are generating an error

oauth_callback (oauth_callback can't be empty)

When we request the Etsy login url. Was this always required? These
apps have been working fine for months. We don't use the callback
feature, users copy or type in the code from etsy.

I went in and did a test, assigning oauth_callback to "oob" and this
seems to fix the issue, however we have 4 apps... 1 in the Apple
Appstore, 2 on Adobe's InMarket, one in the Android market. The first
3 require at least a week to submit and get approved for the update.
This leaves people who purchase the apps hanging until there is an
update.

Is it possible to get this field not be required until we can get our
apps updated with this PLUS the changes tot he login url that was
mentioned last night?

Thanks,
Keith

I guess I should clarify this, this is an error generated when we are
requesting the login url, NOT when we populated the login url with the
token/key.

Also, I stated above that it was working once I send the callback
param... Not so... it was working in the iPhone simulator, however
when I do a build for the device, it generates the url fine, and
signing into etsy is ok and the allow access page is ok, however after
the user clicks "allow" they are getting a "oops there was a problem
error".

Keith,

As you requested, we changed OAuth request token calls to treat empty
or missing oauth_callback params as "oob". Instances of your app out
on real phones should now be able to get request tokens and then go to
the login URL.

As for the issue "oops there was a problem" when you click Allow from
a device, we are continuing to investigate.

Thanks Aaron!

I have confirmed that this is working on live apps. Thanks.
