Hi All,

Is there a way to determine which permission scopes a user authorized when they linked their Etsy shop to my app via oAuth?  We're introducing a new feature that requires a permission we didn't originally ask for (transaction_r), and I'd like to give our existing users a button to re-link their shops, but I don't need new users to see that button since they will be granting the new permission when they first signed up.  I can just put a flag in the DB for all of our existing users indicating the need for them to update, but I was wondering if there was a more elegant way to handle this.

Hi Scott,
Sorry, there doesn't appear to be a way to get at this data through the API right now.

I've wondered about this as well. Having the ability to inspect the permissions for the currently authenticated user seems like a useful (and obvious) feature. Etsy should consider adding such a feature to the API.
