ANN: TraitsUI 7.2.1 and Mayavi 4.7.3

Dear ETS Users,

We are very excited to announce the releases of TraitsUI 7.2.0 (and 7.2.1) and Mayavi 4.7.3.  The releases can be found on Github, PyPI and are also available to EDM users via the Enthought Deployment Server. Documentation for TraitsUI and Mayavi can be found here and here respectively.

The Mayavi release is a small bug fix release concerned with compatibility with Traits 6.2 and the just released TraitsUI 7.2. If upgrading TraitsUI please upgrade Mayavi as well to avoid breakages.  TraitsUI 7.2.0 is a minor release which includes numerous bug fixes, documentation improvements, code maintenance changes, and enhancements. Of particular note is the new VideoEditor (currently only on Qt backend).  Additionally, TraitsUI 7.2+ now requires Traits 6.2+ and Pyface 7.3+ (the TraitsUI 7.2.1 bug fix release was made very shortly after 7.2.0 with the only change being to make these requirements explicit).
