ETP Second Meeting Summary

Hi all, we just had our second meeting just now. So i would just like to summarize our meeting itinerary just now..

Our actual SV , Mr Faizairi is not available at the moment, so we are going to meet our co SV tomorrow, Dr Lee Kean Chuan.

Time: 8.15am

Venue: Block 19, Right side when you come out of the lift

These are the list of ideas that we had generated after the brain storming session just now.

1. Sauce pan 'Retriever'

Combining the concept of getting straw from straw machines and water machines. Customers can get their chilli sauce or tomato sauce with just clicks. More hygiene and market value high

2. Clothes dryer system.

Combining a green house room with clothes drying system. When clothes is hung for drying, the clothes bar will stretch out of the greenhouse and dried. When rain, rain sensor will extract back the clothes bar. Can add solar power and diesel generator. Inside the greenhouse room, can add air purifier or air perfume.

3. Power saving system and attendance recorder

Using sensors such as IR sensors to detect the entry of students into rooms. If student enter the room, counter will increase. If student leave the room, the counter will decrease. When counter decrease, the power of the room is shut down, lights, fan, aircond turns off. It can also be used to record the number of students in class to prevent students cheating for attendance.

4. Washing machine usage system

In our hostel, washing machine is only located at ground floor. For higher floor users, it is more convenient with this system whereby, at certain location of each floor, they can see whether the washing machine usage is full or not. To use the washing machine, queuing systems like in the bank where number / name is entered, to detect who is next user.

5. Life jacket + Water filter

Water filter can be attached to the life jacket to filter the salt water in the sea. Can be used during emergency situations where the survivor needs water

6. Shoe rotating rack system

Shoes can be placed in a more orderly manner with this rotating rack. User can obtain the shoe more easily with this system  

7. Umbrella with anti theft, charging and cooling functions

Safety : Pepper spray, Teaser

Charging: Solar Panel

Cooling system

8. Water pipe blockage detector.

A mini wheel robot, which can work accordingly to the size of the pipe and detect blockage in pipes. LED, camera, wheels, springs are added.

9. Solar helmet with cooling system

Designed with wind entrance and exit with aerodynamic. Can also put solar panel to charge energy.
