I would like to arrange a weekly meeting time here:

The doodle made the decision: we will have our first meeting today,
August 10 at 2 pm EDT. Do we want to use Skype, as we do with
education and business meetings, or do we want to use IRC like the
developers?

Perhaps use Skype until we get going, then IRC later if we wish.

Skype works well for me.

Heard of IRC but have no experience.
