Important vote coming up on Monday for Yonge Street Bike lanes

Hi everyone,

I hope you have heard about the Yonge4All campaign to make the Midtown Yonge Complete Street Pilot  - permanent.  In case you haven't, they have created an excellent website with information called Yonge4All.  

As you are all well aware, we need to provide transit options to encourage less vehicle use and bike lanes and more walkable cities are part of that solution. On Monday, January 30, this will be debated at the Infrastructure and Environment Committee.  The City has recommended making the lanes permanent (Yay!) but we still need City Council to agree with that with their votes. There are 3 ways you can support:

1. Sign the petition before January 30th,  which is currently over 8,000 signatures:

3. Show up on Monday January 30th to present the petition to the Mayor. 

Please share this email with friends and family so we can let the City know that Climate solutions are supported and need to be implemented permanently!
