Hi everyone,

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but bike lanes are in danger in this Mayoral election. We need to support bike lanes more than ever.

"Stephen Holyday has confirmed this morning he will not run in the mayoral by-election and has endorsed Mark Saunders. In the endorsement article, both claimed they would scrap the Bloor bike lane extension, which is why we must do everything we can to #StopSaunders on June 26.

The timing of this announcement is dubious, given today is also the deadline to submit your feedback for the Bloor West Complete Street Extension. If you haven't already done so, please get it done today and encourage others to do the same. It's also important to promote the petition which is closing in on 1500 signatures. Would be great to hit 3000 by the June 5 IEC meeting which is when the project is expected to be debated.
