Dear ET Teacher (Att: SARL please put these dates on the news bulletin)
I hope all is going well in the classroom. If not, please contact your facilitator without delay. Remember we are here to help you.
In May the following workshops are scheduled to assist in building skills and developing you, the teacher. I aso list the workshops of the Amateur Radio Project and HABEX.
3 May – HABEX Workshop No. 4 – Teams are presenting their intended experiments at Sci Bono. We are now entering the manufacturing phase as the research phase and skills development phase is now almost complete.
8 May – Amplifiers Workshop – MST Project: Teachers from underperfomring schools are reminded that you have been called to attend the skills development workshop. If you can for some reason not attend, please ensure you make arrangements before the workshop. Bring your toolbox and extension cord with mutiplug as this workshop has a practical side to it. Hands on experience is the best! These workshops are educational but also fun. We always have a good time developing our skills.
13 May – HABEX Workshop No.5 – Prelimenary Testing HABEX teams will receive some components at this workshop and start construction of the HABEX Experiments.
22 May – MST Project: Logics. At this workshop we sharpen up the logic skills (Boolean that is, as well as Karnaugh) Bring your toolbox and extension cord. We are getting our fingers into the binary.
The last workshop for this term is on 5 June – HABEX Workshop No. 6. Teams will continue building and testing their HABEX Payloads. We have the whole day to do so. Remember to bring tools.
All workshops are at Sci Bono and you are reminded to check your departmental letters for the details. These have been sent out by facilitators.
Please contact your facilitator if you need more information.
