Hi Dong Joon,
We've been running TFDEA for our dataset and it's been working very well. However we've faced an issue this morning. If you open the attached sheet, and look at the "2011-Frontier" sheet in yellow,
you'll see that we get a weird number of "70.69.." in row 154 for in the ROC column (highlighted).  We were wondering if you could take a look at it. The dataset is in "SPEC-2006-DATASET" sheet. I also have highlighted the row for that specific microprocessor.
When we run the TFDEA with other frontier years we do not have this issue.

Another question is, we have changed our release year to the exact time of the release including month and day. So "1/1/2006" is "2006.08". We just wanted to make sure it will not affect how the efficiency score is calculated in each year. Meaning, all the microprocessors in 2006.xxxx will still be compared against each other and not against the microprocessors released in that specific quarter or month.

We really appreciate your comments,
Shabnam

Shabnam, Last time I did that we had no success. as now all the release dates are different and for example the cpu's in the same year are not really considered in the same release date. If I confused you I can try explaining again. let me know.
So, just consider the years.
N.

Hi,
Yes, I am confused ;) Which part are you talking about ?! The weird ROC for 2011 frontier?  or the DATE column?
About including the month/day in the DATE column rather than only year, I just wanted to cross check with Dong Joon whether it will affect how CPUs are compared against each other. I still believe it compares the CPUs of the same year and not CPUs of the same month, quarter or a fraction smaller than year. But wanted to have Dong Joon confirm it.

Let me know :)

Don't worry dear. I think the issue I refered to was related to earlier version of the TFDEA, but it's OK now. Never mind. N.
