hi fam,
our first Oakland/East Bay meeting to follow-up from our first Ethnic Studies Assembly will be Sunday, November 11 from 1-2pm at Powderface Cafe at the Fruitvale BART station (3411 E 12th St, Ste 134, Oakland, CA 94620)
The meeting will be short and sweet--we mainly want to provide a space to see who is in our region and get to know each other, plus get some feedback for what people want from the second Ethnic Studies Assembly for the West.
Please RSVP to myself (Jessica) and Sharim so we know who to expect. OR, let us know if you cannot make it but are from the East Bay so we can still keep you informed.
