ከእምሩ ዘለቀ
እኔ የሰማንያ ዘጠኝ አመት አዛዉንት ነኝ፡ ባሁን እድሜ ይሄን አገኛለሁ ይህን አተርፋለሁ ብዬ የምመኘዉ ነገር የለም። ነገር ግን በአገራቸንና ብሀዘባቸን ላይ የሚደርሰዉን በደልና ደዌ ስመለከት ቅሬታ ብቻ ሳይሆን በመንፈሴም ሆነ በባህሪዬ ከፍተኛ መናወጥ እየፈጠረ በዝምታ ልቀበለዉ አለቻልኩም፤ ስለዚህ እመቢ ብያለሁ።
የካቲት 21 ቀን 2004 ኤሳት ዕለት ዜና በወጣዉ መግለጫ ይአማራ ተወላጅ አርሶአደሮች ከደቡብና ካኦሮምያ ክልሎች ለቀው እንዲወጡ እየተገደዱ ነው፣ በነርሱም ላይ ይሚገነዝዝ ጭቃኔና ስቃይ እየተደረግባቸው ነው ይላል:: የዜናዉን እዉነታዊነት ለማረጋገጥ ባደረግኩት ሙከራ ያገኘሁት ባንድ ብኩል ወያኔዎች በመሬቱ ላይ ወገኖቻቸውን ለማሰፍር ነው ይሚል ነው፡ ባንድ በኩል ደግሞ አቅመቢስ የሆኑ ተቃዋሚ ነን ባይ ድርጅቶች አማራዉን ቀስቅሶ መሳርያ ለምድረግ የወጠኑት ሸር ነው ይሚለ ነው። እውነቱ ያም ይሁን የሄኛዉ አማራዉን ህዝብ ልማዳከምና ቢቻል ለማውደም ይታቀደው ዘመቻ አላቐረጠም ማለት ነው:፡
ይህንን ሁሉ ሰሰማ ክቡር ዾከተር አስራት ወልድየስ ለአማራዉ ህዝብ ቁሞ የመጨረሻዉን ምስዋእትነት ሲከፈል ይህ ሁኔታ ይደረሳል ብሎ ታይቶት ይሆን ወይ? ብዬ አሰብኩ፣ ምነው በስማነው ኑሮ አስኘኝ፡
እኔ በትውልድና ብባህል አማራ ነኝ በዘረ ደግሞ ከልዩልዩ ነገድ ሰለምወራረድ በጠቅላላዉ የኢትዮጵያ ፍሬ ኢትዮጵያዊ ነኝ እላለሁ፡ ይሄም የሆነዉ ያለፉት ትውልዶች በብዙ ክፍለ ዘመናት ባደረጉት ትግልና ምስዋእትነት የተገነባ የራሳችን የሆነ ቅረርስና ስልጣኔ ወራሾችና ባለአደራዎች ስለሆንን ነው፡ ስለዚህ ኢትዮጵያዊነት ባንድ አካባቢ የተወሰነ ባንድ ጎሳ የተተመነ አይደለም። በርዥመ የታሪከ ጉዞ ከልዩልዩ የምስራቅ ይስሜን የምዕራብ ስልጣኔዎች የተጠነሰሰ የገዛ ራሱ ቋንቋ የመናገረ ብቻ ሳይሆን የሚነበብ ደረሰት ቅኔና ሰዋስው ያለው፣ ህግና ስርዐትን የደነገገ፣ የማንግሰት መዋቅር ያቐቐመ፣ ስልጣኔ ነው።
ከዚህ በላይ ያልውነ ለማተት ያሰገደደኝ ባለፉት ሃያ አመታት በግዴታ በታወጀው ጎሰኛ አሰተዳደር በአማራው ህዝብ ላይ የሚደረገው ግፍና በደል ነው። የወያኔ አስተዳደረ በአገራችን ስለጣን ከያዘ ቀን ጀምሮ በማናቸውም ዘመንና ጊዜ በኢትዮጵያ የተካሄደው ክፉ ነገር ሁሉ የአማራዉ ጥፋት ነው እየተባለ በአማራው ህዝብ ላይ ይሄ ነው የማይባል ጥቃትና ደም ማፈሰስ መወገር መሰቃየት ሲደረግበት ቆይቷል። በበኩሉ አማራዉ ከብዙ ነገዶችና ጎሳዎች ጋር ተጋብተናለ፤ ትዋለደናል፤ ተዛመድናለ፤ ረጅም የታሪከ ሂደት አብረን ተጉዘናል፣ ብዙ ችግር ተጋርተን አሳልፈናል፤ አበረን ደምተን ሞተን ኢትዮጵያ አገራችንን ጠብቀን አቆይተናል በማለት በኢትዮጵያዊነት ትስልፎ ንብር።
ነገር ግን በአማራው ላይ የሚደረግው ጥቃት አሁንም አላባራም፤ በልዩ ልዩ ርገድ ሲደርግ ይታያል ለመሳሌ ያህል የአማራው ህዝብ ቁጥር በብዙ ሚልዮን እየተቀነሰ የሌሎች እያደገ ሄድዋል፣ እንግዲህ የአማራዉ ነገድ አይወልድም መካን ሁንዋል ማልተ ነው፣ እነሆ አሁን ደግሞ በልዩለዩ ክልሎች የሚኖሩ አማራዎች ከቅምአያቶች አነስቶ ከተወለዱበት ካደጉበት ከቤታቸው ክስራቸው እየተፈነቀሉ ሃብታቸውን እየተቀሙ እየተባረሩ ነው፡ይህ ሁኔታ እሰከመቼ ነው የሚቀጥለው? ሂትለር አይሁዶቸን ለመፍጀት እንደሞከረው በቀረቡም በሩዋንዳ እንደተካሄድዉ ጭፍጨፋ ተመሳሳይ ዘመቻ በአማራው ለይ ልማድረግ ይታሰባል ወይ ብሎ አያሰጠይቅም ወይ? ብልዩ ልዩ ዘዴ የአማራውን አቐም እየገዘገዙ እንዲሰደድ እንዲጠፋ ለማድረግ ተፈልጘል ወይ?
ይህ ጉዳይ የፖሊቲካ ወይም ሌላ ወገናዊነትን የሚነካ አይደለም፡ ይዚህ ወይንም የዝያ ድርጅት አባል ነኝ የምያሰኝ አይደለም፤ ሽማግሌ ልጅ ሴት ወንድ የሚያሰኝ አይደለም፤ ባጭሩ በዚህ ሁኔታ የአማራ ህዝብን ህልዉናና እድል ምንድን ነው? እንዴትስ መብቱና ህልውናዉ ይጠበቃል ለማለት ነው። እስቲ እናስብ ለልጆቻችን ምን ልንል ንው? ለታዛቢስ ምን ሆነን ነው የምንታየው ? የታሪክ ትፍታ አልሆንም ወይ? ያንን ያህል የሚያከብረን የነበረው ያአለም ህዝብ መሃል ልሚወደን አሳፋሪ ልሚጠላን መሳለቂያ ሆነናል። ደግሞስ በእውነት የትገራይና ይደቡብ የኦሮምያ ህዝቦች አማራውን አጥፍትን እንኖራልን ብለው ያስባሉ ወይ? አይመስለኝም? መናለባት ከአማራው ጎሳ በገንዘብና በጥቅም የተገዙ አንደ አንድ ገለሰቦች ሊኖሩ ይችላሉ በወገኖቻቸው ላይ ብሚያደርጉት ክህደት ዪፈሩብት እላልሁ።
ከጠቅላላው ያገራችን ህዝብ አማራው ብትንሹ ከአንድ ሲሶ ይበልጣል እንጂ አያንስም፤ ይሄም ከሰላሳ ሚልዮን በላይ ነን ማለት ነው፤ ይሄንን ሁሉ የሰው ብዛት፣ ይሄንን ያህል ያኢውቀትና የሃብት ሃይል እያለን፣ ምን አይነት ብርክ መታን? ብለን ከተጫነን ዳተኛነት መቀስቀስ አለብን፣ ለወግናችን መብተና ህልውና ከቆመን ማንም ምንም ሃይል ልያግደን አይችልም። የማይረባ ምክንያት ዉስጥ ስበብ እየፈለጉ መቅለስለስ ለጥቂት ጥቅም መንበርከክ በቃ ነው የምለው።
ይሄንን ስል በግልፈታ ወይንም እነዲህ ብሎ ነበር ተብሎ ለመጠቀስ አይደለም፣ የጉዳዩን ከባድነት አይታችሁ አመዛዝናችሁ በወሬ ሳይሆን በትግባር እንድታዉሉት ነው። ብቅርቡ ልንወስድ እምንችለውን እርምጃ አቀርባልሁ፡ ያአማራዉን ህዝብ ከውርደትና ከጥፋት ማዳን ይማንአልፍወ ግዴታ ንው።

With due respect, why would an Ethiopian writes about the Amhara people's condition only? Aren't all Ethiopians under the same condition? I believe true Ethiopian media speak about the condition of all people in that nation of ours. If core Amharas speak and publish only the condition of Amharas, why would we condemn O.L.F. and other nationalist organizations? Aren't they doing the same thing, speaking for their respective ethnic groups?
I know many things come with age. Look at Zegeye Belete who is 73 years old. His scope of mind started getting shallower and shalloer in each passing day. Senility will strike him in a short period of time. You see how he is quiet these days whereas he was posting upto 10 postings a day. May be depressed because his old age benefit is not enough for him these days.

What are you talking about? The following was what I opsted on March 8. It was Zegeye Belete who disappeared from January 12. he was evicted from government subsidized house (ghetto) for he was unable to pay monthly rent because welfare did not pay him on time. I heard from a friend of mine from Canada that Zegeye is back to his ghetto house after getting paid from welfare.
