This update is for the people that couldn't make it to group this week.

As you may have heard, we are discontinuing the Etherton Fellowship group. We've been through a lot together and seen great relationships form and the group multiply. It's been amazing for me personally to learn about God's will for my own life through the great discussion all of you have contributed to over the last year.

Our focus, at this time, will be celebrating John's leadership of the group and John and Carrie's love for the neighborhood and the city of Denver. John and Carrie have been a blessing in all of our lives and we want to join together and thank God for his grace in our lives through them!

Next Wednesday, May 13th, I hope to see you at 2632 Stout St., Denver, 80205 at 7:00 so we can grill out, celebrate John and Carrie, and offer up prayers of thanksgiving and praise for them. Meghann will send out more information about what you can bring.

Finally, this summer there are a few opportunities to serve and there will be many chances to hangout informally. I've attached the service opportunities, let me know if you are interested and Shane or I will get back to the church about our involvement. August is Fellowship Denver's time to sign up for Fellowship groups, I encourage you to pray about where God wants you to be involved and as Meghann and I pray about possibly launching our own group in August. Remember, this isn't goodbye! It's our chance to celebrate the Etherton's service over the last several years.

Hey everyone,

Carrie and I have enjoyed opening our home and getting to know all of you. It's been a blessing to be so involved in this fellowship group. However, as our lives have changed our ability to keep up our level of involvement has decreased. Plus, we're expecting another bundle of joy in November, so we figure we might as well stop while we're ahead. We've talked and prayed about this and feel that fully stepping down and taking a break will allow us to rest for a bit and see where God would use us next.

We're also excited to see Keith and Meghann start their group and we're looking forward to what God has in store for their future and their new group.

I also like a good grill out, so we're looking forward to that and hope you can make it.

Thanks,

John, Carrie, Charlotte.
