Hi,
Is there a way to turn authorship colors off by default on new pads? My users aren't used to it and get confused.
Thanks for any help you can give,
Greg

You have a few options.

a) Pass a parameter to disable the colors in the URL as documented:
http://etherpad.org/doc/v1.2.1/#index_embed_parameters
b) Write a plugin (or I can bash you one up), would 5 mins or so, this
plugin would disable colors by default.

Hi John
Thanks for getting back to me, could you show me how to do it with a plugin please? That way it can be switched back on later if they want to use the feature.
Regards
Greg
