Running Ether in 2015

Hello guys, i intend to make some test and i would like to know what's best recommended nowadays ?
i read the tutorial about debian lenny. Did any of you tested on more recent kernel or kinda ?

Hi Marcs,

All the components are super old at this point. I don't even know where to begin, since I'm not sure such and old Xen would even run on modern hardware.

So, a solution may be newer virtualization software that can virtualize Intel VT.
