Fundraiser Zoom Symposium for Draganac Monastery
KOSOVO AND METOHIJA OUR HOME,
A panel discussion on spiritual life in Kosovo and Metohija
The panel features four wonderful speakers from all around the world, and some directly from Serbian Holy Land of Kosovo (please see file attached).
Moderated by Monk Sophrony, American-native monk in Visoki Decani, the panel discussion that will be entirely in English will feature Archimandrite Ilarion Lupulovic, Abbot of Draganac Monastery,Kosovo and Metohija, Dr. Milos Kovic, Historian and Professor at the University of Belgrade, Priest Nenad Ilic, Writer and Serbian Orthodox Priest who serves in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and Ivana Dimic, Award-Winning Author, Playwright and Director.
It will be a unique chance for us to learn more about how to live dedicated to Christ –and to hear living words of experience from people leaving that life every day. We will learn about Serbian history and what the future of Kosovo and Metohija means for all of us.
Most importantly, we will all learn about what it means to live embody the spiritual traditions of Kosovo and Metohija, to feel that “Kosovo is in our soul”, no matter where we live.
This symposium is held as a fundraiser for Draganac Monastery, a fledging monastic community in eastern Kosovo that is in need of our help.
