Segmentation fault due to copy('deepcopy') method

Hi all, 

For some of my analyses, I'm dealing with pretty big gene trees, which I'm annotating using ETE3. 

For multiple operations, I need to copy trees/nodes along with their annotations, and in order to keep them as much intact as possible, I used the 'deepcopy' mode for that. However, for some of my trees, this now causes a Segmentation fault, it seems. 

If I switch to 'cpickle', this does not seem to happen.
