Leaf shapes for Tree()

Hello!

We have been enjoying using the Tree function to create phylogenetic trees. One question - is there any plan to add more leaf face types? It would be really useful to have more than just CircleFace and RectFace (TriFace? StarFace? PentFace?)

We would really appreciate it!

Hi Anna,

Thanks for your interest on ETE! We are now marching on ETE4 and we are indeed planning on developing faces for nodes, in ETE4 we embrace the commponents from svg. And the moment I would reccommend you to check our current visualization options https://etetoolkit.github.io/ete/tutorial/tutorial_smartview.html#id19. And yes we are planning to develop more types for node, and we already have triangle face.
