Dot plot with dates at tips

Hi all,

This is a figure I did in Illustrator for a recent paper but I now have to generate an updated figure weekly and I have turned to ete3 to see if I can automate the process. In the past I have found it great for generating nice visualisations but I am a bit at a loss how to go about doing this in ete3. What nodeFace would I use and how would I provide the date information on the x-axis? Would I need to convert it to integers and then relabel?

Any advice would be really helpful.
