Damn. You were supposed to be 555 so that I could be

Next up: 668 (the Neighbour of The Beast).

The new number/name of the beast is 11.

Hint: Politics.

The only political significance that 11 has for me is that 11 Downing
Street is the address of the Chancellor of the Exchequer, head honcho
taxman and neighbour of the beastly Prime Minister at Number 10.

'Zackly so (although 11 Downing Street is right next door to number 10).

Hey, Sn!pe, my house is No 1. The house next to me is No 3. No 2 us over
the road, sort of!!

If your Chancellor of the Exchequer is at No 11 Downing Street, does
that mean they are over the road from No 10 (sort of)??

Nope, it's right next door. We would normally have even numbers on
one side of the road and odd ones on the other, as you have, but it
isn't a hard and fast rule.

So, what's the significance of No. 11 to you guys?

I know, at least from tv, that everything is interconnected with the
Palace of Westminster today. Weren't these all initially free standing
houses that had nothing to do with government?

I thought I might have posted this followup with stray non-ASCII
characters that I hadn't gotten rid of but now I don't see any.

Umm!! 11 players in a Cricket team. I think some Rugby (Union/League)
teams have 11 players. Yank NFL has 11 players per 'portion' of a team,
don't they??

No 11 was Matt Smith.

I give up!!

Was just meant as factlet.

That's a problem hot-spot too. But I was thinking of a person and the
11 I meant has to be read as roman numeral.
