Neodome mail2news gateway

I don't recall how the old Neodome was set up before the administrator
disallowed posting. Had there been a separate mail2news gateway?

This morning, I saw two dozen articles injected via the mail2news
gateway in my newsgroup, an expanded crosspost added in followup in an
ongoing thread crossposted among other newsgroups that was likely off topic
in every newsgroup in the crosspost.

Here's an example.

Yes. At least since 2019.
