Good question.

But: Why XOR, when you can have AND?

Indeed. To answer the question: IMO Solani is good but a little
more restrictive in its Ts & Cs. E-S is not quite as fast as Solani but
it's still good and has a very tolerant adminstrator. [hat-tip to Ray]

Ray was INTOLERANT of massive spam originating at Google Groups and did
something about it, inspiring a few others to issue NoCeMs to counter
abuse as well.

I'm not sure Usenet users truly understand how important the counter
measures to the abuse originating at Google have been. We were going to
lose a whole lot of regulars due to it.

For once, knowledge that the abuse was occurring somehow made its
way into the Real World (tm). Even Google noticed that the abuse had
harmed its reputation among non-Usenet users. Of course, we were all
shocked that, rather than fixing what made Google Groups so attractive
to originating abuse, Google instead chose to blame Usenet itself.

Also, Ray's seamus jokes are hysterical.

If one defines tolerance according to the paradox of tolerance, where
those who are tolerant cannot tolerate those who are intolerant, i'm sure
there's some way for things to be bullshat into meaning that you're both
right.

Why don't you redefine bullshat into a snack food and gorge yourself?

Well, that's uncalledfor.

You called for it when you re-defined the word "tolerance" into idiocy
you made up. You also changed the topic of discussion to "bullshat". I
discussed what you wanted to discuss.

The paradox of tolerance is widely attested to; it is not something i came
up with. At no part of my message did i focus on the word ‘bullshat’—only
ever did i discuss the matter of tolerance.

Provide so-stated widespread attestations or admit your position is
"bullshat".

You fill your article with non-ASCII characters that don't belong in
plain text communication. Your .sigfile is an unreadable mess of
non-text symbols. You are a sockpuppet. What exactly about you isn't
"bullshat"?

Don't answer. I'm spitting out the hook in this thread.

Well, here's an example: <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/
Paradox_of_tolerance>. The article is well-cited, and its history page at
<https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?
title=Paradox_of_tolerance&action=history> shows that it is not new.

i.
