Hi Everyone

Please see the attached invitation to our Fleet 3 Ski Day on Feb. 13th at the Lowther's chalet in Morin Heights. Hope to see everyone there, please be sure and RVSP to the Lowthers in a timely fashion. Directions and info for the day are all listed below.

Downhill Skiing at the Morin Heights Ski Hill – (Ski Morin Heights) – the chalet is 10 minutes away. If people are going to downhill, they should contact Irene or myself and tell us that they will be there and say when.

Cross-country and Snowshoeing – from the chalet – these are groomed trails. Please contact David or Irene for details – if you need to rent equipment, let us know. This can take place any time, preferably in the afternoon. Everyone should let David and Irene know what they intend to do and their approximate arrival time.

You can, of course, do everything – downhill in the morning, cross-country for a while and then snowshoe - but that might be overkill!

Directions to the chalet:

From Highway 15

Take Exit 60 (St. Sauveur, Morin Heights, etc.)

1. Head northwest on Exit 60 toward Rue Robert 0.3 km

2. Turn left at Rue Robert (signs for QC-364/Saint-Sauveur/Morin-Heights/St-Adolphe-d'Howard) 0.2 km

3. Slight right toward Chemin Jean Adam 0.1 km

4. Continue straight onto Chemin Jean Adam 6.5 km

5. Continue onto Route 364 7.5 km

6. Turn left at Chemin De Montfort 2.6 km

7. Continue onto Route Principale 0.7 km

8. Slight right to stay on Route Principale 0.2 km

9. Turn left 0.2 km

This is Sunnyside

The house is on the left hand side – there are two garages on the right hand side – the house is opposite the second garage.

We have attached a section of the map showing the house. (red circle and arrow).

Here is a link to a map of the cross country ski trails in the area with the ski hill marked. If you look near the left hand edge, you will see something labeled “Pavillion Montfort” – this is about 0.5 km from the house.
