Do you want to make a note on a customer if they have a discount to be applied? Do you want to highlight a job that is awaiting stock?

EstLite can allow you to create unique customer & Job highlights. Simply go into Options > Data and click "Use Highlights in Job & Customer History" - then save

then go into Details > History & you will be able to assign highlights to any customer and Job

Estlite help says the following about highlight usage

Selecting a highlight from the drop-down list has two functions, depending on whether or not  the Highlight Only box is checked.

 

Highlight Only - checked

Selecting a highlight from the drop-down list limits the items displayed to those which have this highlight.

 

Highlight Only - unchecked

The highlight selected is applied to the current row in the table. This can be used to indicate categories of customer (good payer/slow payer), and status of jobs (awaiting materials/contact customer when ready). But you are free to utilise it for your own needs.

 

This feature can be enabled or disabled in the Options/Data Screen

 

Right-click on the drop-down list if you want to change the text to something more descriptive. e.g. change from Highlight 1 to Awaiting Delivery
