Traffic Calming Update

Hi All,

I will be putting a traffic calming update in the April issue of the
Cross Wire. However, here is the latest so far...

I spoke to Geanne from the HC Traffic Dept. She stated that the
petition has not been issued as of yet. It will be sent out in the
next couple of days. Once it is sent out, the volunteers will have 90
days to collect votes from property owners in the subject area. One
90 day extention will be granted if requested prior to the expiration
of the first 90 days. Yes, that does mean that this could go on
through mid August. I do have some ideas on how to speed up the
process and get this put behind us, but will talk to Steven before
sharing.

If you live in the subject area, please vote and let your voice be
heard regardless if you are for or against traffic calming devices.

The subject area is on River Overlook begining at the intersection of
Vista River & River Overlook and ending at the intersection of River
Overlook and Shin Leaf Court.

ONLY RESIDENTS THAT LIVE IN THE SUBJECT AREA ARE ELIGIBLE TO VOTE ON
THIS MATTER!
