Applications are invited from the children of estate workers, who are resident in estates, for award of scholarships by the Ceylon Estate Workers Education Trust (CEWET) 2015-2016. These scholarships are available for G.C.E. Advanced Level, Under-graduate courses and for students undergoing vocational/technical education in any of the Government Technical Colleges in Sri Lanka.

Students who have passed G.C.E ordinary or Advanced Level examination with either Mathematics or Arithmetic at the G.C.E. (O/L) examination and below 25 years of age are eligible to apply.

The completed application forms must be accompanied by photocopies of birth certificate, result sheets of G.C.E (O/L) or G.C.E. (A/L), latest salary slip of parents and Estate Superintendent’s certificate regarding parent’s occupation.

Application forms can be obtained from the Assistant High Commission of India, No.31, RajaphillaMawatha, Kandy or can be downloaded from its website at: www.ahcikandy.org/pages.php?id=22

Eligible students are requested to forward the application, duly filled in, along with relevant documents mentioned as above to Assistant High Commission of India, 31, RajaphillaMawatha, Post Box-47, Kandy on or before 30th September 2015.
