1. Internship - SoCal Solar Aggregation
SoCal Solar Aggregation 1 is facilitating a first-of-its-kind aggregation to bring solar energy to 400 select buildings in Southern CA. SoCal Solar Aggregation 1 is an initiative with the AVATAR Alliance Foundation, a nonprofit corporation formed in 2010 by Academy Award-winner James Cameron. We are seeking interns in UCLA's MBA and/or Sustainability/Environmental Graduate and undergraduate programs to perform the following work:
1) Solar Analysis modeling (in excel) for the 400 buildings that will participate in our aggregation, and
2) Marketing (helping create a solar presentation that will be shown at an event in May/June to hundreds of building owners interested in going solar)
Interns will gain significant insight into the economics of rooftop solar energy in Southern CA, and will be exposed to a deal structure that is a first-of-its kind. Interns will also have the opportunity to learn about all the other aspects of solar development.
If you are interested, please email Mike Kimball at mi...@ssa-1.com or call 818-624-6070, or email Steve Wiseman at st...@ssa-1.com or call 310-913-8089.
