About the professor:

Prof. Aurélien Colson, PhD, MBA is Professor of Political Science at ESSEC Business School. He directs ESSEC’s IRENE Centre on Negotiation & Mediation and co-directs the Centre on Geopolitics, Defence & Leadership, as well as the Institute for Geopolitics & Business. He also heads ESSEC’s Law, Political Science & Society Department. An expert in international negotiation, mediation, and decision-making, his research has been translated into 16 languages and awarded by the Académie des sciences morales et politiques. He has advised corporations, governments, and international organizations in over 40 countries, and previously served as Adviser to the French Prime Minister.
