We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer with strong expertise in Microsoft technologies and business intelligence tools, including Tableau, for a long-term hybrid contract role in New York City. The ideal candidate will bring 5–8 years of hands-on experience in application development within the financial services sector, along with solid knowledge of infrastructure automation tools such as Microsoft Orchestrator and System Center suites. This role will initially require 100% onsite presence to facilitate onboarding and knowledge transfer before shifting to a hybrid schedule (60% onsite).

Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid – 60% onsite after initial full-time onboarding period)

Visa: GC, USC, or H4-EAD only
Duration: 1 year with potential renewal
Work Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST

Key Responsibilities:

·         Lead and support development across the full SDLC: design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.

·         Develop robust applications and dashboards using .NET Framework/Core and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and SSRS.

·         Utilize Microsoft Orchestrator, SCCM, and SCSM for automation, configuration, and service management.

·         Participate in technical design using Object-Oriented Analysis (OOA), Design (OOD), and Agile methodologies.

Required Technical Skills:

.NET & Backend Development:

·         .NET Framework (2.0 – 4.7), ASP.NET MVC, C#, .NET Core, WCF, ADO.NET, SOA, AJAX, Dependency Injection

·         Conversion experience from Visual Basic to .NET

·         SDLC management via TFS, build automation with Visual Studio

BI & Reporting Tools:

·         Tableau, Power BI, SSRS, Crystal Reports

·         Strong SQL development: stored procedures, views, functions, indexing, triggers (SQL Server 2005–2017)

·         Data warehousing: SSIS, SSAS, Oracle PL/SQL

Front-End & UI:

·         AngularJS, Angular 2/4, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery

·         Experience with HiCharts, Infragistics, JSON

Systems & Tools:

·         Microsoft Orchestrator, SCCM, SCSM

·         IIS 5/6, MS Access, Oracle

·         Experience with ERP/GL integration (AS400, PeopleSoft, Midas, etc.)

·         Packaging tools like InstallShield, icon creation tools

·         Experience with MQ Series, Java, and older Windows-based development kits
