Interesting article about the Japanese language

I like the news system at Le Monde Diplomatique in general
(apparently our politics are similar). Today i got notice of a new
article which describes Japanes as a "language of slaves":

I haven't finished the article... back to doing the Census... but
it's at least very interesting for the first few paragraphs. Feel free
