I have a couple things I want to do to the espace site. Not least of
which is migrate away from PmWiki. I have the plan, but not the time
right now. I need to negotiate this with my wife. I'll be using ROR to
create something similar to Joomla. Or, I might consider Joomla. But,
we need tracked page linking and a few things I don't think Joomla
has.

THoughts?

Why are you dumping pmwiki?

The biggest reason is the limitations in user management, which has
long been an issue with PmWiki. I have to manually add users.

I'd like to build Espace such that there can be multiple Lexicon
games, the first of which will be the Terradoma, which I will port. I
want to have it such that a Lexicon and Milieu can stand distinct from
others. There may never be another Lexicon, but I think there's a
demand out there.

The wiki markup with change a bit (Markdown is my preferred)

Well, you were alwayas the technical expert, so I'll leave it in your hands.

And I'd like to try another lexicon, even if it's just you and me
hashing it out.

Fair enough on the other lexicon. I'm still slowly plying away on my
rough draft. I like that we've put together _almost_ enough to provide
milieu information for a novel; near one of our goals. Shame it's just
the two of us so far. But, a good kernel to work from.

I've been reading the Lost Fleet series by Campbell; very educational
from both a writers perspective and a lexiconopher.

I can start small by re-implementing the basics of the PmWiki in my
preferred language (Ruby on Rails). I already have the basics of a
lexicon game---creating phantom from a parent article, etc. The markup
will still be wiki-based, using Markdown (easy to read) with some
enhancements.
