Converting a library from C++ and C, want to talk about it

Hi guys,

I was converting this tiny arduino library yesterday (https://github.com/avishorp/TM1637/) from Arduino/C++ to esp-open-rtos/C.

The conversion was actually just a bunch of search & replace, and turning the methods into functions that work with a pointer.

I ask: do you think C has any qualities for programming with esp-open-rtos, or its just a favorite style of the main coders?
