Some organizations might require that the process name of the Teams Optimization Pack be added to a firewall allowlist, to allow communication to the Microsoft Teams Cloud server. The process name is vmware-remotemks.exe on the client machine.

An instant-clone desktop pool is an automated desktop pool created from a golden image using the vmFork technology (called instant clone API) in vCenter Server. A golden image is created on ESXi by installing the horizon agent on a client and managed by vCenter. Using VMware Horizon administrator console, admin can create instant clones according to the requirement.
