Emulex Corporation Saturn-X

Hi Team, 

Anyone did use this Emulex card already ? Fibre Channel: Emulex Corporation Saturn-X: LightPulse Fibre Channel Host Adapter

I can't make it work. 

If I connect the card to a Debian machine, it will do a flogi in the FC switch, this is where I could get the WWN. 

When the HBA is assigned to ESOS : 

scstadmin -add_group c200-1 -driver qla2x00t -target 20:00:00:90:fa:81:ab:6a

Collecting current configuration: done.

-> Making requested changes.

-> Adding new group 'c200-1' to driver/target 'qla2x00t/20:00:00:90:fa:81:ab:6a': done.

FATAL: Received the following error:

No such target exists.

And there is no flogi, that means, the card has not been initaliazed on the OS level. 

Any idea ?

Hi,

Let me research this HBA... I'm honestly not familiar with the
Saturn-X name. Is it in the OneConnect family? Can you send the output
of 'lspci -v' from your ESOS machine?

I’m on the road right now so I can’t double-check but the Emulex OneConnect target driver may support this card. In ESOS it’s a separate build-time option.

Or use QLogic HBAs or ATTO Gen 6 HBAs on the target side.
