Hello lovely people,

Time for you to get to know the SocialErasmus project a bit better and decide if you want to become part of it and do something which matters!

What is SocialErasmus?

SocialErasmus is an international project by the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) which promotes a social attitude among young citizens participating in mobility programmes, to facilitate their integration into the local community while giving them the chance to make a long-lasting social change in society through volunteering activities. The project goes under the slogan: Leave your mark!

What are the Social Inclusion Days?

(27.11.2017 - 10.12.2017)

It is the 30th anniversary of the Erasmus programme and mobility is enriching society, especially thanks to volunteers. To give a bigger emphasis on this, the ESN’s programmes SocialErasmus and ExchangeAbility join forces and focussing this year extra on the act of Social Inclusion. We believe that this will impact the society even more and therefore the Social Inclusion Days are born to gain maximal visibility.

The two-week initiative will provide opportunities for local and international students and the local community to get to know other realities and learn how they can contribute to improve society as citizens of the world. ESN sections are encouraged to organize their best and most innovative activities this week under an act of social inclusion through volunteering.

Focus of the initiative: Stress the importance of the social impact international volunteers have on the local communities and making inclusive society.
