Subject: [National-Communication] Ryanair Partnership - Platform release and coordinated communication

Dear all,
We know we all have been waiting for this for too long and we apologise for the delays, however, things have been rather slow and/or challenging in few aspects.
In any case, I am hereby writing to you to communicate the official date in which we will release the Ryanair's booking platform for ESNcard holders: this will go live on next Tuesday 15th of August, 2017. It might happen that the platform goes live one or two days before, but the official date will be the aforementioned one.
For this date, we are setting up a coordinated marketing campaign on different digital channels to give a boost to the partnership and the advantages this offers to ESNcard holders. In order to help us reach as many students as possible, we would like to count on you to help us with this actions.
Attached to this email you will find a small promotional package you can use to share this on your social media channels and websites. In it, you will find:
- Image for Facebook and/or Instagram posts.
- Image for Twitter post.
- Image for website's spotlight.
- Other images potentially useful for newsletter or other banners.
- Ryanair's logotype package.
We would like to encourage you to use these materials on the 15th of August (next Tuesday) and later on to give a boost to the announcement of the release. We will not cut your creativity by giving you directly the captions or texts to post. We are sure you will be able to communicate this properly and in a creative manner. However, please consider the following important aspects and information when doing so:
1. Even though the platform will be live o the 15th of August, the flights need to be booked, at least, 28 days in advance, meaning that the discount will be applicable for flights starting around mid-September. Also, the discount is only applicable from September to the 15th of June, meaning it is not applicable to summer season.
2. This discount does not work with vouchers or promotional codes, but with an integration with our database in ESNcard.org (no data is transferred at all to RYR) and by adding the ESNcard number directly at one of the stages of the booking process.
3. This integration tool checks in the information on the user profile is correct and valid (such as DoB, name, card number...). This means that all ESNcard holders need to:
1st) register in ESNcard.org,
2nd) add their ESNcard number to their user profile,
3rd) fill in ALL the fields in their user profile,
4th) go to the
dedicated portal and book from there (not from the normal RYR site).
4. Connected to point No.3, the ESNcard will need to be validated, so it is extremely important the the student has all the fields in its profile filled in and a valid ESNcard linked. If this does not happen and the card is not validated, they could be requested to pay the difference (the saved 15% discount) at the gate.
5. The landing page you should use -where you should refer to- is

not live yet). This is the URL where users can check all the information in detail. At the same time, lead the traffic to out own platforms too.
6. The offer to promote is 15% discount + free 15 kg checked-in luggage on 8 single flights (or 4 return flights). Please make sure the offer and the information you disseminate is 100% correct.
Being all this said, we would like to encourage you to share it on the 15th of August in your websites, social media channels and internal (or student) groups (facebook, whatsapp...) to guarantee an amazing reach which will also help us to distribute more ESNcards around Europe.

Note: Please do not share anything before the 15th of August so that we can make a bigger impact by focusing the communication on a shorter period of time, which would boost the reach by and give us more chances to make from this topic a trend.
