Good evening dear friends,

I am approaching you on behalf ESN Bulgaria National level regarding the Future of ESN Sofia.

At the moment we have two structures in Sofia:

1. Council of Sofia Sections (CSS) which at the moment is formed by the Local Representatives from each section and the chosen Treasure which is responsible for the team. For the last year, our lovely National Treasure was in charge of the team, as we didn't have a candidacy for this position. The main focus of the team is to take care of the incomings from ESN cards and decisions regarding volunteers' applications for grants.

2. The events team which at the moment is formed of 4 members who are in charge of organizing different activities for all Erasmus students in Sofia. Welcome weeks, weekly events, and help with National Trips.

For the last few months, we were analyzing the situation regarding the CSS and Events Team and we would like to propose for discussion and hopefully, approval for a future restructure of both structures.
Why: we want to have more involved volunteers/buddies in Sofia and we want to make the structure clear for everyone. The concentration should be on one team which works perfectly with each section in Sofia and with the National Level. We also consulted with other ESN countries which have cooperation as we do in Sofia and none of them have 2 separated structures as we do.

We would also like to invite you for a physical meeting next Thursday, 07 July, from 19:30 in our office at the National Students House to discuss everything.
