Hi sjunior,How are you doing? It's a really good question. I've been asking myself this question for about a year now. :D And now I've got a friend have the same problem. He do not know where to start. Well, I can say that I partly have found my way. Sign up for sites that offers free email lessons or news letters, be a member of any forum that interests you and leave a comment and wait for replies, use YouTube videos, songs with lyrics, chat rooms, Fb groups for learning English, follow learning English sites on Twitter, start your own blog and write down what you've learned, ... should I continue? ;) There more and more that you can do. But now I am asking myself, does that work? o.OI can't do all those activities at once, and so do you. But that's what I've doing lately. :( when you try so hard, you get lost again. But you know what? The question is who to keep yourself motivated while you can't find any one who support you? :( Or even join you in your long journey. Maybe it just me. ;) I am not good in making friends or maybe in choosing them. However, sjunior, don't let anyone put you down and don't let yourself down either. Even if it looks so complicated sometimes, we still have to try and we should keep trying and trying till we find our way.Best regards,Mona.
What I feel I need is a group to study or just to talk. But it's hard
to find people with the same interests, time zone and the same free
time. For instance, I have some time and tranquility just on weekends.
Thank you.
Pablo
Thank you,
Pablo
I have difficulties finding like-minded teachers on facebook who are
willing to devote their free time interacting with learners via voice
or video chats. Take me for example,I seldom use voice chat with any
learners individually because if I do,I cannot multi-task my posts and
comments in at least 5 groups I am involved with on facebook.
I myself prefer interacting via comments on Facebook or messages here
in this group. I have gotten to know quite a few of you,Pablo,Ed (the
moderator) ,Anurag,Eduardo Rocha,Rafael
Oshiro,Mikhail,Andre,Simone,Vera,Jason
Chan,Serdar,Charles,Ali,Alberto,Marcelo, etc this way and we have
developed quite a strong bond to write freely to one another and have
in-depth discussions on quite a few diversified topics during the last
3.5 years...
I used to hold Skype group talks (voice chats) about 3-4 times only
and strictly during week days as I have a family with 2 little sons
and it isn't suitable for me to talk on the weekend.
Since I asked Ed to make me admin yesterday, from now on this exchange
of messages will be more intensive and hopefully productive !!!
I would love to see any of you taking ther initiatives to post
anything that interests you :
Learning tips, songs, videos, poems or articles to enhance our language
skills will be highly appreciated !!!
Let's motivate one another and think and act positively !!! ;-)
Great day to you all !
Pauline

I've already registered in voice thread. Looks interesting. Thank
you! :) Have you tried it yet? Are you interested in create a study
group with tools like that? Anyone else?
Pablo
This is great: http://pinterest.com/
Taking the idea of voice thread, I think we could practice ourselves a
lot using images and videos to describe what we see.
