This program is open to new Canadians, LINC graduates, international
students, students preparing for business school, students preparing
for career training, graduates preparing for work in English speaking
workplaces, employees who need to improve their business English. The
Internship School operates in Toronto, Canada.

The next 2005 training dates are from September 5th to November 25th
(12 weeks)

Intitial consulting and level testing: free

Training materials, lectures, seminars, practice sessions: free

Guest seminars by leading business men: free

Field trips to business locations, centres and facilities: free

In-house company internship placement: free

External company internship placement: free

Toronto Homestay accommodation referrals: free

University Graduate placement assistance: free

Professional resume, work portfolio and presentation: free

Registration fee: $ 100.

The 12 twelve week, 350 hour training and work experience program:
$3500.

Business English and business skills training.
Working functions and responsibilities include:

Research - internet, library, phone, in-person interviews

Analysis - organize, calculate, summarize, information

Presentations - prepare and present data in written, multi-media
formats

Presentations - prepare and present oral reports to supervisors and
managers

Services - administration, interviews, public relations, consulting


2005 Internship projects:

1. Corporate finance: Canadian public company initial public offering
2. Market research: educational game markets
3. Internet commerce: write business plan
4. Technology review: evaluate formats and platforms for internet
business
5. Paralegal: claims research and forms processing
6. Hospitality: purchasing and costing for tour programs
7. Hospitality: business plan for internet marketing
8. TV & Film: project management report
9. Fashion: launch of new line

The beginner program is for students with less than advanced English
and no business education or working experience. The intermediate
program is for advanced English students with business education but no
working experience. The advanced program is for students with advanced
English, business education and working experience. Students can
progress through the levels during each 12 week session.

ESL in Canada Diplomas:

Diplomas for beginner, intermediate and advanced English skills

Diplomas for beginner, intermediate & advanced business skills

Letters of recommendation issued for successful work experience in a
Canadian company.

Company letters will authenticate your actual Business working
experience.

The principal of the ESL in Canada Internship School has managed
in-house company training programs starting in 1983. Has coordinated
Government of Canada Federal Job training programs that started in
1985, Jobs Ontario projects that started in 1995. Has operated the ESL
in Canada internship program starting in 1998, trained interns in
Canada, the USA and Korea and has trained interns and volunteers from
over 14 different countries.
