I want to be able to do some design work in ezcad and get some general program details set up and verify images import properly without having to use the computer that is connected to the laser. I want to do this from home instead of having to be at the laser, but I need to be able to save my work.

I am pretty sure I have to turn the laser on in order to use the software and save program changes I make; if I work in demo mode I don't think it saves the program, so I'm wondering if it is possible to use ezcad without a laser connected AND be able to save the work I do.

Follow up questions: If this is possible, where can I find a copy of ezcad 2 to do this? Is there a different version required to be able to do it without connecting to a laser? What would the cost be for this, or is there a free version?

Hi. My name is Erol and I am writing from Kosovo. I have a 20w fiber JCZfiber laser. It came with ezcad software. I wanted to try Lightburn, therefore I have installed trial version (on windows 7 32 bit) before I purchase your license. According to what I read on internet, I have to install Lightburn driver so that my laser would work. I also downloaded Zadig for converting the drivers, but I am reluctant to use it, since I would like to retain my Ezcad driver until I finally switch to lightburn. My question is: is it possible to use both Lightburn and Ezcad on a same machine? If yes, what should I do.
