Btx is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masami Kurumada, the creator of Saint Seiya. It was serialized in Shōnen Ace from 1994 to 2000 and collected in 16 tankōbon volumes. The story follows Teppei Takamiya, a young man who travels to the Machine Empire to rescue his brother Kotaro, who was kidnapped by the Machine Empire's Four Kings. Along the way, he meets B't X, a mechanical horse with a will of its own, and joins forces with other B't riders to fight against the Machine Empire.

The manga was adapted into a 25-episode anime television series by TMS Entertainment, which aired on TBS from April to September 1996. A sequel series, B't X Neo, consisting of 14 episodes, was produced by the same studio and aired on the same network from August to November 1997. The anime series were licensed by Tokyopop in North America and released on DVD in 2005 and 2006. However, the DVDs are now out of print and hard to find.
