Well if members dont reply here then it will be a lot difficult for us to prioritize objectives and get a general view of the solutions .and all our activities will be going to start only after registration of trust and for registration we need to provide our Byelaws which must be contains all our objectives in broad way, and so lets include all the part of education in our agenda and we will prioritize things as per our monetary conditions after registration.

Remember, Charity is not throwing the bone to the dog! its sharing the bone with the dog, when you are as hungry as the dog!

Although, we will get bulk of success with primary edu or water. .. ...And I am also not saying its not worth doing. .. ...but I feel that we can put these school/water things in long term agenda once we are well established. .. ...or may be we can discuss this openly in the forum. .. ...becoz then we will also know the common inclination/priority of members! Becoz in the end we must prioritize the things that need to be done! otherwise all efforts will go waste!

and my personal view is to consider primary education also in the boundary of work of this trust cause supporting primary education will provide us more bulk at a lesser investment of money and in initial years we need to show off things to get large money from the sponsors.

I understand everything, but you know this is a non-profit organization.... no member is at any profit rather thy have to invest time and efforts and even membership fee.... so they wont be willing to pay, i think.

We need many helping hands in the begining, those hands can attract huge ammont of monies.

so we need to get others' responses as well...before we change our mind

thanks

Then what you are thinking as the membership fee ???

normally the NGO's that i have seen working have either 200 INR per year or 1000 INR for lifetime as membership fee.
most NGO's have separate fee structure for students taking membership but that is normally for yearly membership only like some offer the memberhsip to students for 50INR per year or so.
You can look at this pdf file which is containing the regulations of NGO that im trying to form :http://pharma-world.org/files/niyamawali.pdf

Main source of money for all NGO is always the memberhsip fees only.

Thanks very much Abdul, for the suggestions,

I have no problems at all, but the problems will come from so many members I am damn sure for that... and if we are expectibe 40 members to join Trust, then the number will go down to 5-10 members.

It's very difficult situation..... All this is my feeling.....

Thanks abdul.... but we can think about it... what others say...

2008/5/13 Abdul Rehman Nagori <pseud...@gmail.com>:

currently we have 40 members.
if after registration each member make 5 member only then also we can get 200 members easily.
if we assign a membership fee of only 1000 INR(~25$)  for lifetime membership [ thts very less] then also we can get 200000 [2 lakh INR].
and i hope this much money can be good resource for the initial year work as we dnt expect much of sponsors joining us in initial phase.

Out of this 2 lakh, we can use 1 lakh for the higher studies students for foreign conference attending or other such works, and of the remaining 1 lakh we can conduct the education of :
-10-25 primary school students (around 25000 for this)
-2-5 secondary school students (around 25000 for this)
1-2 students frm professional course (around 40000 for this)
remaining 10000 for some other non foreseen works
