Gentleman and Ladies,
As promised, here is the profile of a potential candidate. Please review the same and post your views and comments on this thread.
I look forward to some progress on this.
Hope this will flare up some sparks! It has been very quiet lately.
Cheers
Rajesh
Rashim,
Thanks for your feedback and comments.
I have nothing against the Govt schools. The town/village he is living in is very small and we all know how much money local authorities put in state owned schools. Also it is not just study but other activities like sports, extra curricular activities which help in development. Now if the govt schools have just enough funds to pay their teachers, do you think they will be spending on any of these activities? In India we get good hard working people but not leaders and I think this is where some private schools make a difference.
There are MBA schools in India as well but why do students spend thousands to come to UK to study? It is the quality of the teaching and the exposure you get.
Now about the activities in public schools, I must say I have been to the Pravara Public school and I have seen the life the students living there. It is unusually very ordinary life. I think one of the reasons could be that Pravara is a very small village where the main source of earning is a sugar factory, farming and education. There is a saying about the village that it was settled for education purpose only and I think that is very true.
I am not saying we have to send him to a public school but to a better school where along with studies he will get exposure to other things as well. It could be a private school in or near to his town.
Suresh,
About website development, I can “code” the website. Regarding design, I know a designer in India. I will check with her and get back to you.
