Dear Friends,

I think, now we have enough points raised in the group regarding which
we should have some properly written material to be incorporated in
the website. Can I request all to please submit their write-ups on
atleast some points. I was initially thinking of compiling all the
points, but now they are already there in the group; may be a bit
scattered..

Now at this moment, our prime objective is to build the website. After
that we can go for documentation and in turn registration of our
proposed Trust.

Please post your write-ups under this thread only, so that everyone
can see which points have already been covered or if they want to add
something to those points.

Many Thanks

Suresh

Following are the suggested heads to be incorporated in the website...

1. Home
2. About us:
a) Who are we?
b) Mission
c) Board of Trustees
d) Trustees
e) Contact us
f) etc
3. Membership enquiries:
a) FAQs
b) Membership fee
c) etc
4. Join the Trust (OR work with us)
5. Case Studies (OR Projects)
6. Achievements and impact
7. New & events
8. Advertisements
9. Donate now
10. Log in, members only
11. Links

We should start writing about these points. If we have most of the
write-up, it should become very easy to incorporate in during building
our website.

The Education-Support India Trust (ESIT) is to be created as a non-
profit organization dedicated to supporting the educational ambitions
of a number of deserving candidates. Founded by a number of academics
and non-academics who appreciate first-hand the importance of
investment in education, the Trust is actively seeking to expand its
membership and recruit sponsors willing to contribute to its aims.

Upon registration of the trust and receipt of sufficient funds to
begin operations, Trustees will collectively approve and allocate
funds targeted at improving educational opportunities for Indian
students. The Trust anticipates support for a range of projects,
including the need-based scholarships to underprivileged students,
merit-based scholarships to candidates displaying particular industry
and promise, financial support for local education authorities, and
upgrades of school facilities.

The Trust is committed to remaining a non-profit body and so every
rupee raised will be used according to the stated aim of the Trust.
It welcomes any contribution made and asks members to pay a small
membership fee of £5 (Rs 200, €6, $10, or the equivalent amount in
the local currency of the member) to help the Trust to find its feet
in its early days. It also welcomes any input and suggestions
regarding the operation of the Trust or the projects that it supports.

ESIT activities are currently conducted in the Education-Support India
Trust Google group, which can be found at <http://groups.google.com/
group/esitrust>. The current members can be contacted at the
following email address: <esit...@googlegroups.com>. ESIT thanks you
for your interest and eagerly anticipates your participation in its
noble aims.

Please submit your write-ups as early as possible for the other heads
as well.....(under this tread only)

Yours

Suresh
