  Dear Dr.Shaijesh,

I agree with your thoughts and respect them, but let me tell one thing that the goal of this trust is help those students who are little unfortunate in terms of money for seeking the higher education. (dear founder correct me if I am wrong)

by contributing in form of journals , research papers you are helping our friends those who are already in research and they have some availability of these resources at their respecitive institutions , even if someone contribute in form of this thing will always be helpful toall...

but we should not forget the basis of formation of this group, that it is formed to help weaks in society to help them to acheive their educationl goal...

well this is my understanding about this, I request the founder of this group, why donot we have a preamble for this group.. which shall mention about its short term and long term goals.....

becasue with this understanding only we can get the attention of those who are having  real serious inclinations towards this genuine and nobel cause.

What you say ?

Yours,

Vijendra

Thanks Vijya again for your suggestions,

I think that's a good idea, but I think we should first of all
register the Trust so that the doubts about the use of money, as you
can see above, are clarified better. Then we can ask one person from
each country to collect the registration fee from the members in that
country and then send it to one account in India after it has been
opened on the name of Trust as Vijendra also suggested (ICICI would be
better as, they provide the easy facility of money transfer to india
with good exchange rates).

Does it sound better... or have some other ideas... please post..

i think registering the Trust would need some money but it could be
arranged by one or a few people in the first instance and then can be
returned back after we have enough money from registrations.

Cheers

Suresh

Registration of a Trust of Organization has a fee of around 1500 in
India and i think this much money should not be a problem for us and i
think that members in India can do it easily.

Your absoluetly right Vijayendra,

The Trust will definitely need some money from the members in the
begining, but then I think we would certainly be able to attract
sufficient funds from other sources (rich people, high-status people,
foreign lands, .... and many others).

One more thing, I think now it is the right time to openly invite
people like using orkut, respective yahoo groups, etc. Could some one
suggest a very attractive abstract about the group (should include the
links for Trust's website, subscription and unsubscription options)
which every manager could use for the invitations.

Thanks Vijya, about suggesting us to mention clearly abou the Short-
Term and Long-Term Goals of the Trust.

Regarding, article request....I think (after discussing a few other
people), if we start posting article requests in this group, then
there will be a lot of emails as a result of which the true intention
of this group could be at loss. But still its upto the members of the
group.

Thanks everyone

Suresh

P.S: We haven't made some members selective as managers, it was their
wishes to contribute...Anyone who volunteers to contribute (towards
invitations as this stage), please let us know, you will be converted
to 'manager'.

Registration of society or trust comes under the Societies
Registration Act of 1960 and its a state act, so fee charged in states
may vary but its under 2000 as per current info from MP and
MAharashtra .
to have a look at the act visit
www.mp.gov.in/registrarfirms/M.P.%20SOCIETYeng.pdf .

Lets this phase of invitations complete first, and then we can decide
who can do the registration process in india.

But thanks very much for this useful information,

to make a registered NGO we just need 7 members ,while our group has
already got 40+ members, so i think we can go for registration now, as
more persons will be interested to join a registered NGO then a under
construction group.
