Updating Profile and setting up Nick Names

Dear friends,

Some of you either have not created profiles for their google accounts
or havn't completed them. May I request them to please update your
profiles and setup your nick names, as it becomes difficult for
members to identify other members just by looking at the complicated
email ids.


How to update a profile....

click 'Profile' (can be found at the right upper corner of this groups
webpage)
click 'Edit'
fill-in the required information
and finally hit 'save'


How to setup 'Nick Name'...

hit 'Edit my membership' (can be found in the right menu items)
you will notice a text-box for a question 'What nickname do you want
people in this group to see?
just type your Full Name (I would suggest type full name instead of
just a nick name)'


If any of you still face any problem in setting up nick names and
profiles, just give a shout...

This is more or less a repeat post, but i think, this is also the
right place for this information.

If you look into my prevoius mail "Updating Profile and setting up
Nick Names above especially, the nick names part.... everyone can
reset the nick names
by incorporating their roles... like i have done with mine -- Suresh
