Hello Indians,

Welcome to the first week of 2014. We have come a long way today from 19th century. It has been a long time isnt it ? Let me take you a little back to the 19th century.

Our India was passing through difficult & different challenges. Science which was also evolving at that time led some to mock the ancient values of this great land. Anything Indian was criticised and was considered archaic by most elite. The glorious India and its civilization was on verge of being written off. Missionaries were being flooded by west to teach knowledge to seemingly ignorant India.

As if as an answer to these challenges, during this century a spiritual giant was born. Having the gift of awe inspiring mental faculties he could have settled for a splendid material life, however he chose to be a sanyasi and travelled across the length and breadth of India.

This young sanyasi later addressed "World Parliament of religions at Chicago" and he presented the ancient knowledge of India to the assemblage comprising of eminent religious speakers representing all faiths. People were awestruck with the depth of the knowledge of young sanyasi. John Henry Wright of Harvard University remarked "To ask for your credentials is like asking the sun to state its right to shine in the heavens".

Spiritual might of India was understood well and many laughed at the idea of sending missionaries to this wise land. Contributions of Swami ji to India were immense. Leaders like Subhash chandra bose and Mahatma Gandhi ji were great admirers of Swami ji.

To pay tribute to this great master we are organising a grand Swami Vivekananda jayanti in Frankfurt this sunday.. Join us for a spiritually refreshing & patriotic evening this sunday.

Please invite your family and friends and make the Swami vivekananda jayanti a big success.

We have special program for kids so let me know if you would be joining with Kids. (young enough to read & sing ).
