- EP Boat Cruise - MAJOR Success! I officially named it the "1st annual boat" cruise, as this is obviously a new tradition.
- EP Welcome Event - Unfortunately we had to more our event to either August/September due to the Admissions conflicting event on 6/12. While this is unfortunate Scott emphasized the importance of our presence at the event on 6/12. As a reminder deadline to RSVP is tonight so do so now :) http://www.eventbrite.com/event/6772979163
- Nats Game - 14 left to sell! WE CAN DO THIS! We just had our first FT purchases tonight too!
- Extra Funds: We have ~$550 extra funds that need to be spent by June 30, tentatively VP of Socials are planning a HH for 6/28 to spend it. More details to come!
- Alumni Event - Email for this event went out from Cedric on 5/30.
- Goals Discussion - Looking at the major themes of our goals established in Jan 2013 I think we are doing a pretty good job of working towards them and have accomplished some of them already! Because our next meeting (Tues 6/18) is our last meeting for the summer I want to talk about our plans for next semester, what do we still want to get accomplished? what events do we want to plan etc. So at your leisure feel free to take a look at the goals below (bottom of this email) and think about what you still want to do as a member of ESGA.
- Potential Fundraising Idea Discussion - The general consensus was that the idea of binding people's materials for them after they have delivered them to us already printed would be logistically very difficult, and it would most likely only work effectively in situations where there were no cases you had to buy and the professor posted all the material at the beginning of the semester which sadly is rare. KEEP THE IDEAS COMING THOUGH! :) I am still trying to sell koozies at some point. ;)
NEXT MEETING:
Tuesday June 18th 5:40-6:30 (Dean Romanelli, will most likely be there she stopped by the end of today's meeting to say she wanted to come to the next one!)
- Tentative Agenda:
- VP Social HH Update
- Scott/Jannette to brief out on meeting with program office on EP16 Orientation
- Second half of the year ideas for events/goals, what events do we want to get done, etc.
- OrgSync roll-out discussion - I want to talk a little bit more about this and what advice we can give the program office.
- Anything else?
Cheers!
Jannette
