Hi Team --

Just wanted to recap tonight's meeting for those that couldn't attend.

• Spring Formal - We have 50-100 tickets already purchased for EP students! WOO! Good job Socials! Sales end tomorrow (Wednesday) at midnight so encourage your peers to buy. I attached the list of attendees from Tuesday (not sure what time) so feel free to harass your friends to buy tickets if you don't see them. I see a few EP13s, EP14s, and EP15s on the list so I am excited! 
• McDonough Cup - We are still trying to determine the specific logistics of the event but the save-the-date with specific event info went out today from the "ESGA VP Social" email. Please take a look and start to get your peers excited! Amanda and I are attending a meeting tomorrow and we hope to learn more info about logistics, etc to pass on to everyone. Stay tuned.
• Remaining Events/Budget Through June 30 - Jess is going to send an email with your budget through June 30, please respond to her with a "YES" this is still the plan or "NO" I can't spend all this money and explain. We need to spend all our money by June 30, so if you can not spend please advise asap so we can allocate elsewhere. 
• Welcome EP16 Event - Scott pitched the idea of making the normal Welcome HH into a campus BBQ event, which went over really well. He will advise us when he has selected a date so we can plan accordingly. :) 
• Org Sync - Org Sync is in summary going to be the next Intranet. It is going to combine all communications from clubs, program office, ESGA/SGA, etc into one place. As a "club" we need to update our page so that EPs can follow us and get excited about our events. As leaders we need to familiarize ourselves with the platform because our peers will be asking a lot of questions and we need to be a resource to them. I am going to send you all invites to be administrators on the ESGA page feel free to play around. Feel free to reach out to myself or Dana if you have any questions both of us were trained (briefly and might be able to help!). 

Upcoming Meetings:

4/15 (M) - Next ESGA Meeting (changed from 4/17 due to conflict I have with the awards meeting)

4/22 (M) or 4/23 (T) - Dinner with ESGA/SGA and Dean Romanelli (awaiting confirmation on Dean R's schedule) 5:30-6:30

4/30 (T) - End of Year BBQ 5PM - 8PM

With the Easter weekend quickly approaching I wanted to remind you all that we have our next ESGA meeting on Tuesday 4/2.

 

The meeting will be held in RM 240 (yes, the classroom) from 5:40-6:30. I would encourage as many of you to attend in person as I will showing you the new Org Sync.  I am not going to do a dial-in for this meeting as I am sure it will impossible to follow what is going on.

 

Agenda:

·         5:40-5:50 -- Status on Spring Formal Tickets/ McDonough Cup – VP Socials

·         5:50-6:00 – Review Remaining Events through June 30/Budget Update – Jess/Jannette

·         6:00-6:30 -- Org Sync Overview – Jannette/Dana

 

If you cannot make the meeting please email Jess and myself any updates you have for the events you have planned through June 30. We need to ensure that all the budget is allocated, if you are not planning on spending your funds please let us know ASAP.

 

I also invited some of the administration to the meeting as they have been eager to come and hang out with us – I don’t blame them!
