Oh also, I will be selling regalia this week outside of Connelly Commons to the EP14s from 5:15-6:15 each day of the week. I sent an email to the EP14s advertising. If anyone wants to help me that would be nice! I am going to try and find someone to do it for us on Tuesday so we all can be at the ESGA meeting if not we will have to have someone step out to man the table.

Hi Everyone!

Although I decided not to run for any ESGA positions in 2014, I am still thinking about putting on another tax seminar. You may remember the "Binders of Tax Loopholes" seminar I put on last winter which had a pretty good turnout.

Would it be possible to allocate some budget funds to do this again in 2014? I think last time we spent roughly $300 on pizza and drinks. As far as a date, Saturday, February 15th appears to be free of conflicts.

I will not be at today's meeting, but please discuss this and let me know what you think.

Meeting Minutes:

• Elections
• Some really awesome candidates! Very exciting.
• Things to consider for the next ESGA board:
• Should 3rd year EPs be allowed to run? 
• Potentially improving the format of the LOI to provide a template, which may help establish goals from the candidates
• Potentially making it a PPT submission so that they can be put on the screen for the EPs during snacks and breaks!
• Winter Formal - Tickets will be $40/head, 150 tickets available, will go on sale Wednesday/Thursday
• Sandwich Making for Martha's Table - After class 11/26 Tuesday!
• Fourth Friday, THIS FRIDAY! 11/22 Mason Inn starts at 5PM!
• Jess - Can we update the VP of Finance forms with some of the recent transitions prior to transition? Also, we need to make a note that ESGA members can't sign contracts we have to have Anne do that. 
• Poor Event Attendance
• Any thoughts on resolution?
• Org Sync may be partially to blame
• EPs are just burnt out
• Surveys show we are planning the events student want! 
• EP16s are using groupme for communicating! Great recommendations for future cohort reps, especially EP17
• SAVE-THE-DATE: ESGA Appreciation Dinner 1/10  (I will need a headcount once new board is elected! Look for email from me!)

ESGA Transition (see highlighted section for who has the action)

• Current ESGA (less co hort reps): Transition between you and your replacement
• Please create at least a 1 page description of lessons learned, events planned, responsibilities, etc
• Please set up a time to meet with your replacement prior to the end of 2013
• New ESGA (less co hort reps):  Transition into role meeting with SGA counterpart and program office counterpart if applicable
• I have already run this by the current SGA board and program office
• Myself or Liz will make email introductions between your SGA counterpart 
• Please set up a meeting with them between now and leadership transition day on 1/11.
• If have a program office equivalent please also include them in the discussion, that would be:
• VP of Alumni - Justine
• VP of Admissions - Shari
• VP of CM - Doreen
• VP of Curriculum - Kerry Pace/Annie Floyd (who will help with faculty interactions)
• VP of Student Orgs - Angela P & Brian Cain
• New ESGA: New ESGA & New SGA - Dinner
• Jannette, Liz, and Scott meeting with Dean Romanelli & Pace on 12/3 and will discuss this
• More to come! 
• New ESGA (less co hort reps):Leadership Transition Day will be shorter this year, it will be on Saturday 1/11 (afternoon)
• SGA, ESGA (less cohort reps), and Club President & EVPs will be in attendance
• Liz/Scott - Basically required. New VPs are encouraged.
• Liz/Scott will give opening remarks to Club Presidents and EVPs encouraging them to include EPs giving them info about how they can get info out to EPs if they want to invite them to events, etc. (I will provide you my remarks and tips from last year)

Any advice for the future ESGA? Feel free to email me or just email Liz/Scott directly (I won't be offended!). 

I want to end by saying THANK YOU! You guys have been outstanding! We have done some pretty incredible things. You guys have planned some awesome events and some new traditions! I am very much looking forward to seeing the new board in action!
